This building . . .

. . . was an icon of its time. Its loss is abhorrent.

. . . was distinctive if imperfect. Its loss saddens.

. . . had served its purpose. All things must pass.

. . . should never have been built. Good riddance.

. . . never existed. The material world is illusion.
